"Light My Way Back Home" is my first venture in designing something specifically for screen printing. Nautical themed typography, hand drawn with metallic gold and navy blue ink.
I started off by sketching out the initial design on paper. Scanned and retraced everything in Illustrator. Added a grunge look in Photoshop and converted that layer into a bitmapped image for the Illustrator file. Finally, I matched my colors with pantone and sent it off.
The final print is an edition of 60 on 13" x 14.5" french pure white paper with metallic gold ink. printed by Mama's Sauce.
